What is Share the Care?

Share the Care is Isthmus Eye Care’s referral program designed to ensure your family and friends have the same opportunity for increased quality of life through better eye health and superior vision.  Because you care enough to refer family and friends to Isthmus Eye Care, we are pleased to reward you for each patient you refer to our offices.

What are the benefits?

Share the Care allows others to become aware of the benefits of a high quality, timely, professional eye examination.  As an expression of our gratitude for your caring recommendation, you will be rewarded a $25 appreciation gift for each referral.  

What can the appreciation gifts be redeemed for?

For each patient referred, you will receive a gift of $25 that can be used towards your next eyewear purchase. Share the Care referral rewards can be used towards your purchase of a complete pair of eyeglasses (frame and lenses) or annual supply of contact lenses.  This excludes any purchases made with insurance benefits.  The appreciation gifts can not be used towards professional fees including: exam charges, contact lens fittings, and co-pays.

Who can use the appreciation gifts?

Share The Care is designed to benefit patients who give the opportunity for better vision and eye health care to others.  Therefore, the reward can be used on eyewear for yourself, or anyone in your household/ immediate family (includes spouse, children, parents, siblings).

How do we track Share the Care referrals?

When a new patient comes to their first appointment we ask how they heard about Isthmus Eye Care.  They are given the opportunity to share with us who referred them to our clinics.  After getting your name, we notify you of the referral and will have your appreciation gift available for your next eyewear purchase.

How many appreciation gifts can be earned?

 There is no limit on the number of rewards you can earn. So the more patients you refer the more appreciation gifts you will receive.

How do participants in the Share the Care program get recognized?

Each year Isthmus Eye Care hosts an event in appreciation of our patients who participated in the Share the Care program.  Everyone who has referred friends and family to Isthmus Eye Care is invited to join in the fun.  Past events have included a Mallards’ baseball game and family outing at Henry Villa’s Zoo with games, prizes, and food.  Planning for this year’s event is on its way.
